It is especially important to choose the right waterproofing material. The following is a brief introduction about what you need to pay attention to during the waterproofing of homes.

First of all, you need to pay attention to the surface of the house. After removing the original decorative paint, the surface of the cement and floating soil are cleaned to ensure the surface is dry and flat.

Next, apply the modified asphalt on the base layer that needs to be waterproofed, spread a piece of glass cloth, then brush the waterproof coating or lay the waterproof rubber sheet, then lay the second glass cloth and brush the waterproof coating or lay the waterproof rubber sheet. It is necessary to pay special attention to the matter that the waterproof coating should be evenly applied, the waterproof coil should be flattened, the glass cloth and the waterproof layer should be closely adhered, and the phenomenon of bulging, leaking and falling off should not occur, otherwise the waterproof effect will be affected.

Finally, the “shade water” test is an important method to test the quality of indoor waterproofing. After the waterproofing project is completed, sealing the doors, windows, and water outlets, and placing a certain height of water in the house. After waiting for 24h, if the level of liquid does not drop significantly, the waterproof effect is very good. After the test is completed, a layer of cement mortar is applied on the outside of the waterproof coating. After the cement mortar protective layer is completely dried, it can be attached to the wall and floor tiles or sprayed with paint, that is, the normal decorative waterproof material.
