Industrial rubber sheet is widely used in power plants, substations, power distribution rooms, test rooms and field live working, etc. It is mainly made of rubber insulation materials, and there should be no harmful irregularities on the upper and lower surfaces of the insulation pads.
Industrial rubber sheet should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment. It must be away from heat sources and at least 20cm above the ground and walls. Special attention should be paid to the fact that the rubber sheet should not be contaminated by acid, alkali and oil, and should not be placed in the open to avoid direct sunlight.
There must be no harmful irregularities on the upper and lower surfaces of the rubber sheet. Harmful irregularities refer to the following characteristics: defects that destroy uniformity and damage the smooth contours of the surface, such as pinholes, cracks, voids, local bulges, cuts, inclusions of conductive foreign matter, bumps and corrugations. Harmless irregularities are surface irregularities formed during the production process.
