Installation process of glass wool roll felt

Glass wool blanket's installation process can meet the needs of large-scale use.

Roof construction

When laying the glass wool roll felt, the veneer faces the indoor side and is perpendicular to the purlin. Leave a distance of about 20cm on one side of the eaves, and it is fixed to the outer purlin with a special clamp or double-sided tape.

When laying the glass wool roll felt, ensure the alignment and tension. Lay the glass wool roll felt to the other side of the eaves. Also reserve a 20 cm roll of felt, and fix it on the outermost purlin with a special clamp or double-sided tape. 

The two rolls of glass wool are stapled together with a stapler.

Install the roof color steel plate, remove the special fixture at the eaves, and use the reserved 20 cm veneer to close the glass wool.

Pay attention to the tension and alignment of the glass wool roll felt, and the seams between the rolls must be tight. When longitudinal overlap is required, the overlap joints should be arranged at the row of purlins.

According to the needs of the project, in order to avoid the occurrence of cold bridges, you can consider padding some hard insulation materials on purlins.

Wall construction

The veneer faces the indoor side, and the glass wool roll is laid from the eaves to the corner of the wall, and the glass wool is fixed on the bottom sandal bar with double-sided tape, leaving 20 cm reserved.

The glass wool roll felt was cut 20cm above the top of the wall and was fixed with double-sided tape.

Take the glass wool aside and install the wall color steel plate.

The two glass wool rolls are bound together with a stapler.

Pay attention to keep the glass wool rolls tight, aligned and vertical, while keeping the seams between the rolls tight.
